Textile Group Residency

Small Group Textile Artist Residency, Oct 28-Nov 10 2018

This self-directed residency allows you to set aside two weeks to dedicate to creating and spending time with fellow creators. Let your fingers guide you through lustrous fibres and your tongue wag on selvedge, seams and slips. At coffee times, we will discuss our work and topics of interest. This is a chance to create next to like-minded makers.

Equipment available: table loom, shuttles, wool winder, swift, hand carders, embroidery loops, finicky sewing machine, some natural dye equipment, hand-tools (drill, jig-saw, angle grinder, screw drivers, etc.)

Cost: €350 per person includes room (shared 1-2 person), board & residency fees with shared (1-2 person) studio space. Residents will help with cooking & dishes. Those with dietary restrictions will be accommodated or attendees with very strict or multiple issues (such as gluten-free vegan) may choose to cook for themselves.
